Journal of Business Theory and Data Analysis (JBTDA) publishes research on business strategy, organizational management, and information management. Information is interpreted broadly to encompass not only product/service and process, market, organization, and social information. This includes comprehensive studies of the information management process or its stages, issues related to accessing and effectively utilizing tangible and intangible resources, information strategies, various tools used in information management, and the impact of industrial, regional, and national factors, along with their implications on organizational performance. JBTDA particularly welcomes work that explores innovation management in novel contexts, such as services, public sector organizations, and social and community enterprises (social information), at various levels including team or project, organizational, regional, national, and international.

Papers published in JBTDA are grounded in rigorous research methods and are expected to be explicit about their implications for both theory and practice. Authors are encouraged to articulate their contributions to the state-of-the-art in the field clearly.
